Convert PDF to Word:

Step1: Run PDF Converter.

Click the "ScanSoft PDF Converter" in your Start Menu, then choose "PDF Converter Assistant" to launch the PDF Converter.

Step2: Make sure source and target path.

Click "Document" if your source contains text, iamge. If your source PDF file include a lot of form, please choose "Form" at "Convert as" area. The output file format will appear at target area. Here we choose "Document".

You can convert all pages of source PDF file, or just convert some by import the page number in the pages area.

Click the button on the right of "PDF File to" to choose a PDF file for source. The output Word file is saved in the same folder with PDF for default. You also can change the path. And the output Word file has the same name with source PDF file.

Step3: Settings.

Click the "Document Options" lable. Here you can set the way to deal with image page, the layout style, color and other options.

You can take following method to image page:

Convert Page with OCR
Skip the image
Add to document as image
Define the page number. When it be reached, OmniPage will stop the converting.

Choose the layout style for "Flowing Column" or "True Page". Enable the retain items: rule line, headers and footer, hyperlink, text and background Color. You also can change the color to "GrayScale" or "Black and white" in the "Color" drop-down list.

Step4: Start.

Click "Convert" to convert PDF to Word.
